How we produce our guides

Kiuli publishes guides, cost breakdowns, and destination pages so that anyone planning a serious safari can see real numbers, real lodges, and real seasonal trade-offs before they ever speak to us. This page explains how that content gets made.

Research

Every guide starts from primary research: published rates and seasonal pricing from the lodges and operators we work with, our own itinerary and booking data, and external sources we cite where a claim needs one. We do not invent guide names, prices, access arrangements, or wildlife numbers — if our research doesn't support a specific, we stay general.

Drafting

We use AI systems to help research, structure, and draft at the pace a small team couldn't otherwise sustain. Drafts are produced against our own knowledge base and a strict house style, and every draft passes automated quality gates before a human ever considers publishing it: factual claims must trace to research, banned marketing language is rejected, prices and dates are checked for staleness, and sources are verified against the research record.

Review and accountability

Published pages carry their dates — when they first appeared and when they were last materially updated. Pricing on our itineraries reflects current anchor pricing and is restated whenever it changes. When we get something wrong, tell us and we will correct the page and note the update.
