1. Who We Are

Kiuli Ltd (“Kiuli”, “we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website kiuli.com. We are a luxury African safari travel company. Our registered contact email is hello@kiuli.com. You can reach us by telephone at +1 (213) 533-2845.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us when you:

  • Submit an inquiry through our contact form (name, email address, phone number, travel preferences, budget range, and any additional details you choose to share)
  • Subscribe to our communications
  • Correspond with us via email or telephone
  • Call us by telephone. Calls to our published number may be recorded, and we automatically transcribe voicemail messages and extract relevant safari-planning details (destinations, dates, party size, and similar) so a safari specialist can follow up. We disclose this before recording begins.

We also collect certain information automatically when you visit our website, including your IP address, browser type, referring URL, pages viewed, and the date and time of your visit. We use Google Analytics 4 for this purpose, subject to the cookie consent choice described in Section 5.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your safari inquiries and design bespoke itineraries
  • Communicate with you about our services, including follow-up correspondence
  • Improve our website and services
  • Comply with legal obligations

4. Third-Party Services

We share your information with the following third-party service providers, solely for the purposes described above:

  • HubSpot — Customer relationship management. Your inquiry details are stored in our HubSpot account to manage our communications with you.
  • Resend — Transactional email delivery. Used to send confirmation emails when you submit an inquiry.
  • Twilio — Telephony. Handles inbound calls to our published number, including call recording and voicemail storage, when you call us.
  • iTrvl (ITRVL LLC) — Booking and payment platform. If you proceed to book a safari, your booking and payment details are shared with iTrvl, who holds your payment in escrow and contracts with you directly for the trip. See our Booking Terms & Cancellation Policy for detail.
  • Wilderness Group (Wilderness Holdings Ltd) — Trip fulfilment. If you book through us, Wilderness receives the booking and traveller details needed to deliver your safari.
  • Stripe — Payment processing. If you book through us, your payment is processed by Stripe under its own PCI-DSS security and compliance standards.
  • Google Analytics 4 — Website analytics. Collects usage data to help us understand how visitors use our site, only after you consent (see Section 5).
  • Google Ads — Advertising measurement. We use conversion tracking, including Enhanced Conversions (which shares a cryptographically hashed version of your email address with Google), to measure the effectiveness of our advertising, only after you consent (see Section 5).
  • Vercel — Website hosting. Our website is hosted on Vercel’s infrastructure.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third parties.

5. Cookies

Our website uses cookies for analytics and advertising measurement purposes. Analytics and advertising cookies default to off for every visitor and are only activated if you click “Accept all” on the cookie banner shown on your first visit; choosing “Essential only” keeps them off. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your cookies for this site, which will show the banner again. Essential cookies required for the website to function (for example, to remember your safari inquiry as you fill in the form) do not require consent.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including to satisfy any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Inquiry data is retained in our CRM system for the duration of our business relationship and for a reasonable period thereafter.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your information
  • Object to or restrict processing of your information
  • Request portability of your information

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at hello@kiuli.com. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. All data transmitted through our inquiry form is encrypted in transit using TLS.

9. International Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, including the United States (where our hosting and some service providers are based) and the European Economic Area. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for any such transfers.

10. Children

Our services are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.
